Wusthof Diamond-Coated Sharpening Steel

July 3, 2014 By admin Leave a Comment

I bought the Wusthof Diamond-Coated Sharpening Steel (10 inch, model 4483) about two years ago in Vienna, Austria. After almost daily use over these two years it still looks and performs brand-new, no coating damage, no tear and wear. Unlike Deglon Oval Diamond Steel Knife Sharpener it’s more steeling than grinding tool, with extra fine grit diamond coating. Actually the Wusthof Diamond-Coated Sharpening Steel is one of only two sharpening tools that I use for my high-end knives, the other one being F. Dick 11-inch Multicut Steel.
